Wheel nuts!

what is the dimension of the wheel nuts. is it 7/16".
Its my Malibu -79 Wagon.

I now that is not 1/2".

I know my 81 Bu is 7/16, but some other years were metric .I Don't recall the size off hand,sorry.

They were 7/16"x 20 until 81. After that they're 12mm x 1.5.
