When do stock powerglides parts start break?

I'm thinking of getting a powerglide for My new car. I may take the engine out of My current Malibu it has a 765HP BBC It also has a fogger system on it that I've never tried. I guess My question is when do stock parts in a glide start to break? Like cases,gears,input shafts,ETC. I don't know if it matters or not but it will have a transbrake.

For a stock glide they are a pretty tough trans. Run stock 1.76 gear set in mine and it is holding up fine. With your engine + spray I don't believe it will hold up for long. Know one person running one in a blown Camaro. Chucks out the planetaries. Does get quite a few passes before it happens. You would need a shield to be legal. If you do put in a stock cased trans be sure to get the 1.76 low trans.
