The 80 El Camino is coming along nicely at the body shop, so nicely that I'm feeling uneasy with the idea of running her with the same crappy rally wheels she came with. Since this V6 caruck is eventually destined to be an Electric Truck, my eventual plan was a set of 15X6 Centerline Convo Pros (for light weight and strength) and a set of 195/70R15 van tires (for low rolling resistance and load carrying capability). That leads to the question of wheel locks. I've been told that driving around town with custom wheels without locks is almost like asking to get ripped off. So the question becomes, which wheel locks do you prefer? How many wheel locks to you install per wheel?
