A few months back I replaced the hard line that runs from the distribution block on the frame under the brake booster back to the frame mount for the rear brake hose (which was replaced a few years ago, it might as well be new). I've driven it since I put that hard line in without issues. Night before last a few friends and I went into town (<5 miles) to get food, and I started feeling the pedal was a little soft. While we were stopped at a light I put a bit more pressure on it (as in a semi-emergency stop), and the pedal went to the floor, but very slowly. I knew something was wrong, but wasn't sure what, as under normal stopping conditions I couldn't feel hardly any change in braking performance. I got under it & looked last night and discovered where this new line connected to the almost new brake hose was had a leak. I'm not sure why it happened, my only thought would be that maybe there was a slight sideways load on the fitting itself. I just don't understand why this would've happened recently as opposed to 3 or 4 months ago... anyone else had this happen?
