I have Chevy Malibu 82, transmission is a TH200c and had a 7.5" 2.73 ratio, my plan is replace the transmision with a TH200-4R and would like to know wich ratio should i have in the differential to have a better "start". I did not attemp to use the car to run 1/4 mile all the time, just to give them better performance...

Any help will be really appreciated.... Thanks...

3.73 is a good choice for a street car, especially with the overdrive.

So a 3.73 would be good, that ratio allow for a good "start"... because that a problem that i have now, the car has a relatively poor acceleration...

Do you were could i buy those gears, remenber that in my case i have to import them to Chile....

Those are for a 3-Series Carrier which works with 3.23 & higher ratio Gears.

You need Gears for a 2-Series Carrier which work with 3.08 & lower ratios.
Any of these will fit your 2-Series Carrier:

I also suggest getting a Master Install Kit that comes with Timken brand Bearings..

You may also want/need Axles Bearings & Seals.
