Winter boredom

Its a long winter so I figure Id take the carb off and try EFI. Got a new intake for 100 complete and a brand new throttle body, did a few mods on it. I plan on using the stock fuel rails, they sell an adapter to run AN fitting. Stock harness will be cut down to about 50 wires.

I may be down a few HP in the higher RPM, but I think the truck intake might make up for it in the mid range. If not Ill just spray more NOS into it.

Yeah, the truck intakes are supposed to be better than the aftermarket & car intakes as far as low-midrange power from everything I've read.

Orange valve covers? Looks good lets us now how that works out for you vs. the carb.

for about 300 bucks you could have an ls6 intake on there. from what i have read, a ported ls6 intake flows better than the FAST intake... i might be wrong on this, but thats what i read.

Id have to change waterpumps then, and get a regulator. From what I read the truck intakes flow better , not sure?
