just rebuild my 350 trans with a 3200 stall/ rear gears 342 when i drive the car in auto it does not want to shift but when i manual shift it, its good
Whatever you manifold vacuum is should be what you get at the modulator end of the vacuum line.
So if you have 16 inches of vacuum at your intake then you should have 16 inches at your modulator.
IF that doesn't make a difference try taking your modulator out and applying vacuum to it, this way you can observe the solenoid move when vacuum is applied.
