I am a new member and have a question about the HP capabilities of a set of GM's pink rods with ARP rod bolts. The motor is about 390 HP and I am putting on an NOS cheater system capabile of another 250 HP. GM says these rods are good for 450 HP. I know the weak link is the bolts. With the ARP's how much do you think I could spray it safely? It has 4 bolt mains, forged steel crank and forged pistons. Thanks - Steve

I would say 150 is safe for the most part. but you never know some people break nice parts lol. I look at it like this its not if it will break its when lol. I have seen people spray over 200 on stock crank and rods here and run low low 10's so good luck lol.
