The new battery keeps going dead every week when it's not started on my 78 El Camino. This started happening after I wired in my electronic cruise control. The switch for the cruise control is off, when this happens. After I charge the battery, the voltage gauge says it's charging at 14 volts...
I put in a Rostra cruise system in my 78 El Camino. When I check the ground from the cruise control panel to the ground at the battery it reads 1.0 ohms. Which is the same reading I get when I turn on my meter. If I connect the meter wires together, it reads .000. shouldn't I be getting lower...

I put in a used 2004r transmission awhile back. The cooling lines where attached to the Radiator. I know 1 line is sending fluid to cool it and the other to return it to the transmission. Where should the return line connect on radiator and transmission?

I have an issue with the dash gauges not lighting up. This a stock set of gauges. The windshield wiper switch and the heating switch area lights up. The the seatbelt and bright light area works fine. Any ideas what I need to check?
I wired the torque converter to a toggle switch and the power accessory fuse. When I started it today the volt meter went down to 8 volts, with the switch off. I let it run a little and the gauge went to 13 volts. I tried the switch and it made no difference either way. It didn't do this before...
