The wheel itself rubs on the a-arm. The tires are tiny so there aren't really any issues there.

Also (unless you get one from down south) chances are the holes on your replacement frame could be rotted as well. I'm thinking I may just repair mine (minor rot around some of the mount holes), but I need to get the stinkin' frame sandblasted again.

You may not need to do anything to the wheels... have you ever looked at a ruler to see how small a millimeter (let alone .7) is???

Talking about these? The tires on mine are fairly small though (205/somethin'/somethin' :lol:). Mine also rub a little on the lower a-arms at full lock, so you may need a ¼" spacer or so to clear that up.

That's my guess. Same with '78-'79, and I think '82+ all have the same grilles/bezels. Later El Caminos (not sure about Malibus since they stopped at '83) also have marker lights at the bottom front of the fender.

I'd say to get the clutch fork/z-bar issue taken care of first. That may be causing all your troubles.

I put Fel-Pros on. Didn't have a problem getting them over the valve stem, but I'm not sure I got them square when installing them on the valve guide.
