Is it brand new? I'd exchange it just because... if it makes any noise I'd just tell them I wouldn't feel comfortable. I've had ones that squeak quite a bit when spun by hand, but usually don't have any problems. If it's used, worse thing you can do is try it & see if it charges. If it...
Another option would be custom wheel tubs for the engine compartment, that's where part of the problem is, because of their shape. If they were more 'cylindrical' like an aftermarket wheel tub you'd have quite a bit more clearance in that area, but you can only get so much before you start...
Unless you have an alignment machine it won't really matter, it will need an alignment anyway. If you're asking because of the ball joint location, yes, there are left and right sides.
NOTHING!!!
I went to the Super Chevy Show, and fixed the garage door... for some reason one of the stupid cables came off the drum. I wasn't home when it happened, I just fixed it after I got home.
I'm definitely saving up if I plan on going next year... don't feel like taking the ~$50 hit...
The 88-94 Chevy truck wheels look nice. I have one of those Grant Challengers in the Malibu... it's only in there 'cause it was cheap.
I'm more of a fan of the straight-spoked wheels, never really cared for the ones with all the extra curves & contours.
I don't know if it will fit, but what...
I think he was talking about the GM 2.8 V6... they're definitely not GM's shining star  I had the same engine in my '85 S10. My dad & I replaced the rod/main bearings & crankshaft, and after a few months of driving it stopped showing oil pressure below 1,000-1,500rpm, and a cam lobe or...
Ok, so they're in 2 separate threads....
Here's the one Craig mentions they're doing the project (and a little talk about it):

Here's more frame discussion (I know Norm's posted in it, not sure if anyone else from MR...
One of the guys made a post about t on Pro-Touring.com, he doesn't know if it will be the expensive MaxG chassis, but it will solve the typical G-Body bumpsteer issues for sure. There's some other good discussion on the topic in the same PT.com thread, if nobody posts it before I get home I'll...
There isn't really a major difference between a good auto & manual trans....
TKO500 - $2k
700R4 - $1500-$2500 depending on builder, what you choose for the trans, etc.
The larger diameter one will keep the car flatter in the curves. The largest 3rd gen. F-Body one is 36mm, I'm not sure how big the G-Body bars are but I know they're nowhere near that big.
Personally I've never been a big fan of those flexible door pulls, I'm thinking about trying to find a pair of Cutlass door panels with rigid door pulls.
I'm kind of interested in this myself, I'll be needing a built trans for my truck sometime in the future to handle the 383 after I get it all tuned & stuff.
