10'' -28 tires

how much power could i use a 10x28 tire with. I have a 540 bbc with a 4600 stall and 3:73 gears. it's also a stock suspension setup w/south side bars. my best e.t. was 1.54/60 10:24 at 134 mph 1/4 mi. . is this as good as it gets for this tire, or should i want more? We have a true 10.5" tire class that you can't run the 10.5 W tires. They're running into the 5.teens in the 1/8th, so if your car is set up right you'll have no problem going a bunch faster.

Im in the 5's 1/8 mile with a 275. Only 9 inches of tread

because i've already purchased new tire's. I'm on a budget i would like to know just what suspension tricks you did to make your car work.

Stiff sidewalls hold up better on cars 3000 lbs and heavier. Also helps the car react quicker and more stable down track.
