How have you guys done it. I have an 85 MCSS. I bought weld 15x8 4.5bs drilled w/ M/T 28/10.5 et drags the other day and i was wondering how much am i going to have to notch off the frame to fit the tire?.. i tried putting them on and was rubbing, i added a 3/4 in spacer and its not hitting the well, but still the frame.... right now i have my 7.5 in (cars sitting for the winter).. during that time i am going to put in my 12 bolt which is getting rebuilt in a few weeks. But i would like to start on the notch this week. any info would be appreciated!

If its an A body 12 bolt, it should fit without a notch. If you want it to fit with a stock frame, may as well notch it all the way in and get ready to mini tub it, because it will still hit the frame if notched to the seam without a spacer.
well i bought the UMI 12 bolt upper and lower control arms, so ill give that a shot when i install it, and hopefully that works!.. that would be so much easier if i dont have to notch it.
