Will 275/50/15 ET drag radials fit in the stock wheel well ? Or will I have to notch frame and roll the lip ? Also what size wheel and backspace will I need ? 8)
i have run as big as a 29.5/10.5 with a 10inch rim and 5.5 backspace with a notched frame, trimed wheel opening and a stock tub. I am running a a-body 12bolt so it is alittle longer than the 7.5 or gn 8.5. The tire fit great and the rear was not up in the air. However a regal body may be different that others
I had a 28x10.5 slick on the back of my old regal. That was on a 15x8 Centerline Telstar with 4"BS. It fit real nice. I did have cargo coils and dual air bags, but there was only any air in the passenger side. I also had a big *ss ATR rear sway bar (1 3/8")
I run 15x10.5's on my Regal, and just tonight I tried them on a 10" wheel. Well they fit great, I have a notched frame and the rear is narrowed 2" total
(doesn't exactlty help wheel fitment) and a 15x10 w/3.5 inch b.s. is perfect. So on a Regal with a stock width rear and a frame notch you can get a 15x10 with a 28x10.5 on on prob, oh yeah my wheel well opening is rolled also.
I am a HUGE dummy, that needs to learn a tape measure. For a 15x10 to work I need a 4" bs wheel. Unfortunately, Weld 2.0's and AR Racing wheels are the only available pieces @ a min of 300 bux per wheel all the way around. SCREW THAT!!! 15x8.5 will have to work for now!!!
