should I go with the 6.5 backspace and a full notch....... that seems to be the only offset that will tuck the wheel and the convo pro's only come in 5" or 6.5" that I can find and I am sure that 5" will set the tires out too far..... any opinions are greatly appreciated..... I need to buy rear rims before I can install my Rearend because of the 5/8" studs...

you need to install your rear end first and measure before you buy the rims, don,t forget to add for the section width of the tire

No chance in hell of clearing the frame rail with a GN 8.5 and that much backspacing, even notching to the inner skin. Notching to the seam on a stock width rear won't even clear 4.5" without rubbing. How big a tire are you looking at? This is a stock width rear, 15x8 with only 4.5" BS. There's about a mile between the tire and the wheel well.

If you wanna run a 15x10, you will need to do a full notch on the frame and run 5.5 inch backspace. 6.5 won't work as stated by Supe, even with a full notch. I have a this combo on my car with a 28x12.50 ET Street. I would recommend mini tubs as well. I kept my stock tubs and "massaged" them, but it still rubs from time to time. I plan to mini tub it in the future, should have done it to start with. The rear in my car is a Moser 12 bolt, half inch wider than stock in an attempt to clear the stock tubs. This was also a mistake, as it left very little room between the outer lip and the sidewall of my tire. It is very tight on both sides, but I wanted to leave the stock tubs and I am stubborn. lol.

Mine is notched to the seam and I'm running a 15 x 8 rim 4.5 BS with 29 x 10 slicks. no rubbing here.

Weird. Mine hit with both the 7.5 and my 9", needed a bare minimum 3/8" to clear.

I want to run a 15x10 obviously but I don't see that they offer a 5.5 BS in the convo pros and I already have the fronts..... I for now just want to run a 10.5 I am going to have a full notch to the inner skin and wheel tubs....... I need to get rims and notch/tubs done before I send it in for 25.5 cage..... I want to tuck the 28 10.5 under some because it is gonna be low

Yesterday I installed the rear spring and checked the ride height
