want to put some centerline auto drags on the rear to match the front. Right now I have some generic 15x8 w/4.5 bs rims on the rear of the car with 28x9x15 MT slicks on them. They fit perfect with no rubbing. The centerlines come in 15x8.5 w/4" bs.

My ? is: Does adding a 1/2" on the rim make up the 1/2" difference for the bs. Meaning since the rim is wider it doesn't need as much backspacing. Does this make any sense at all? Didn't know how to phrase it. #-o

Never seen Centerline Auto Drag wheels 15x8.5 offered with 4" backspacing. Think they only come 3 5/16" or 4 7/8" backspacing. Either of these wheels will present a problem if your rear end is stock length and your current combo fits nice. The better choice would prob be the 4 7/8" backspacing wheel but you will have to run a spacer to keep it off the frame. The wheel with 3 5/16" backspacing will prob put the tire into the fenderlip.
