I found a set of American Racing Hopsters. 17" wheels, not sure of the BS. They were on an early 70s El Camino. 255/50s for the front and 275/50s for the back. Will they fit on my 81 coupe ? Ive got no idea how these newer 16" + rims and tire combos fit . I looked through the posts and most of the sizes used are only the 45 series tires. Can anyone tell me if these will fit ?

They will fit but you wont be able to move the car.. Thats what I have on my Monte right now but they rubbed on everything when I put them on the Malibu.
