295-65-15 fitment

Any of you guys have these on your malibus (or g-bodys). My question is how close are they to the wheel lip @ the front of the quarter. My malibu's been mini-tubbed & frame notched so they fit fine in the wheel well but are 'very' close to the front of the quarter. I know if I used adj. lowers I could move the rear back some but I already have all BMR susp. now ( adj. uppers, boxed lowers, & 1 3/8'' sway bar) & i'd rather not have to change it. Also the car has recently been painted so if I had to 'stretch' the front quarter I'd have to repaint it. I'm probably going to have to do one or the other but if anyone had any other ideas I'd appreciate them. Thanks in advance, Heavy.. ( sorry sooo long!!)

You're probably going to need double adj. lowers. They are TIGHT, and will need to be centered perfectly to have about a 1/4" clearance around at least the top side of the wheel well with the lip trimmed. Take a look at Blown81Bu's car. I can barely get my finger between the quarter and his 295/65's, and his lip is cut off.

Uere is a pic looking from the rear 15X10 with 4.5 BS 9" housing but I have shortened the housing to even the tires in the wheel well so both sides are the same.
