maybe buying a 1985-86 4.3 v6 (mech.fuel pump driven) from a factory rebuilder. the engine don't come with accs. ie water pump, intake, and all the other things that make a engine complete.whitch engine years can i use to complete this motor.. water pump, pully,s, alternator,oil pan, & brackets.THANKS

Depends on if you want a V-belt, or serpentine setup.

As far as the oil pan, 85 is a specific 4.3 pan. 85 is the only year 4.3's had a 2 piece rear main seal. 86-up blocks have a 1 piece rear seal. so find out which block you have first.

Dont forget that any SBC accy system will bolt up, just remember if you are going serpentine, to use the correct water pump.
