7.5 axle questions

I would like to know if the axles in a 7.5 are the same lenght for both sides (can they be switch).

No personal experience but read somewhere that once an axle takes a torsional set that it's not a good idea to swap it where it experiences force in the opposite direction. Something to do with metallurgy.

Yeah it took a year or two, but it ain't bad Summer's kinda hot at times, but most of the time I'm inside then so it's no biggie.
