I did quite a bit of research and went with these for the 3-4 pack.

I also got a stock width Alto carbon fiber band from PATC (#11CF).

I got the pin out, and the kit installed. Last week I was fighting with the input/reverse input drum package last week, got mad, so I quit before I broke anything, and today I managed to get pretty much everything together and ready. I just have to double check the movement for the 2-4 servo and it's ready to put in. I still have to clean out the trans lines, but besides those two things it's ready to go.

Everything together and running!

For some reason I'm getting earlier (but consistent) shifts, I'm thinking it may be something to do with the combination of all the parts. Everything shifts good & positive, both partial and WOT, just earlier than what I need (5000 range is what I'm going for).

WOT on both shifts? may look into the governor weights and springs, and make sure your TV cable is adjusted properly

i believe the increase in line pressure has something to do with your early shifting

That's what I'm wondering.

I did have a weird thing start yesterday (Thursday). Took my girlfriend to class (~20 miles 1 way) and it drove fine. Work was nearby so I stopped by to check tire pressure since I haven't checked them in months (holding up quite well actually). On the way back I decided to run it through the manual gears (1/2/3). Soon as I did that, it stopped shifting part throttle normally (WOT was still fine). Now into both 2nd and 3rd it shifts right around 3500, and very hard. I plan on pulling the governor out my next free day. I've been trying to find disassembly images lately, but no luck. I get paid Friday, so I might go ahead & order a spring/weight kit. Once I pull the weights off, does the plunger in the governor shaft just slide out? I noticed it just kinda floats inside.

I had a BSOD here on the laptop yesterday (Saturday), thought this reply was lost... anyway... I took a chance and drove it to work today. It shifted fine for about 10 miles, then started acting up again. It still shifts at its typical WOT points, but part throttle is no lower than 3200-3500.

I had a heck of a time getting the governor cover off when I first removed it, haven't touched it since, but I plan on taking it back out Wednesday, and go from there.
