8:1 compression sbc 355 with an 250 shot of nos

well guys i bought an 8:1 compression 4 bolt main 355
the block is o-ring for nitrous, gm steel crank, recondition rods, lunati solid roller cam .656/.668 .316/.330 4500-8500rpm, gear drive timeing set, and mild poted gm 492 angle plug heads with 2.05/ 1.600 valves, 1.5 roller rockers, bowtie victor jr intake, nos cheater system with a 250 shot, holley 750 hp carb, and a tci 3500-3800 converter

2 passes on the motor never sprayed (the guy said he turns this thing 6700 rpm :roll:

i bought everything for 1,200 bucks how do you think its going to run in my 79 malibu with 4.56 gears and p275/60/15 m/t et street tire

what time you think it runs on motor ? the guy i bought it from told me 1/8 track motor-8.87 nos-7.12 in an 85 buick regal with 4.56 gears and slicks

Stock rods and heads? 8:1? Hairy stick? Not gonna' run for sh!$ by itself. May not run for long on a big shot with stock rods. Might consider stepping the pills down to 125-175.

I would hope you would run better than that - My 350 has gone 7.18 on motor. You have too big of cam, not enough converter, and heads that are great for mid range

I am running a stock L-82 short block w/chevy 64cc 2.02 heads, comps 306s flat tappet cam, Vic Jr
w/750, T-400 w/4000 stall, 4:30 rear w/28 in hoosiers.
