A body rear in G body

I would like to swap a 72 A body 8.5 rear {bolt in axles] in my G-body and would like to just verify some info
The stock lower control arms will work?
need new upper control arms because of different angle ?
do the spring perches need to be moved?
rear about 1.25 wider each side?

mainly concerned about relocating spring perches

YES THE SPRING PERCHES NEEDS TO BE MOVED.... this is my rearend i also use baseline suspention upper control

I put a 69 Chevelle 12 bolt in my Monte..Bought the 12 bolt swap kit from UMI and went with it..never touched the spring perches and it's all fine..

moved the spring perches on my 71 12bolt, and used DA lowers with heim joints due to the slightly different angle
