I picked up a serpentine setup from a '94 CPI Blazer today, and it has a newer style alternator on it:

The connector has a brown & pink/black wire.

With the alternator I currently have:

There's only 1 brown wire that's running to the alternator for the regulator. Is it going to be the same for this newer alternator? Any good schematic links?

Some good info on the site, only thing is it doesn't list the wiring color and I don't have the connectors or alternator in front of me. It does appear after some searching there isn't really any major difference besides the fan being inside the case.

pretty much you need to have 12 volt all the time at the batt. post terminal and terminal "S" . Do you have an idiot light in your dash? if so connect the brown wire (which is 12 volt switched) to terminal " F " if not use terminal " L " . i did upgrade my wiring since i went from a 63 amp stock to a 120 amp police car series.
