I have a 79 bu and was curious if anyoner has any suggestions on how I should setup the front end.
Tire size, springs, etc.
USE: I am a 1/4 drag racer who doesn't really spend allot of time at the track. This is more of a toy the an hobby. I would just like to carry the tires for a little ways and burn some fuel.
I have a new combination motor/transmission/rear end/lightened car.
406 sbc (450ish hp) 4500-7800rpm
Power glide with brake
Neal Chance bolt together 9" converter 5400rpm
Ford 9" (4.56)
rear anti roll bar
rear tubular upper and lower control arms.
VFN glass front end, hood, trunk lid, and rear bumper
8 point cage.
No interior
Front tires MT ET 3007 26x4.5x15
Rear tires MT Slicks 29.5x10.5x15
Weld Pro Stars
appx 2900lbs wet
Any other suggestions of predictions are appreciated.
