I've got a home made set on mine, don't really know if they do any good but I shure don't think it'll hurt,I think I saw them on the Hotchkiss website and thought it was a good idea to tie your trailing arm mounts together so since I didn't have anything better to do at the time I made some, probably not as strong as those but what the hay!Later,KillerDave

Those are a hi tech version of what GM put on 4 speed Abody cars.

GM should have made them for Gbodys.

Anyway, I have the Hotchkis version on my Drag car. The mounts are a known weak spot, so these help.

I have another set that will be going on the wagon.

I have never needed for them to be adjustible. To me that's overkill but they sure do look good.

Also make sure when you get longer bolts they are grade 8 or 10.8 ( I think) for metric ones.

Killerdave, they look great, nice job. I love DIY stuff!

i notice some have a curve in them and some are straight. is this for muffler clearance?

killerdave, those look great.

I believe the straight ones are for an Abody and curved Gbody, atleast from ones I have acually used.

The curve follows the curve of the floor.

On the d/s things kinda kinda tight with the parking brake assem, fuel/brake lines, exhaust.

A stamped steel one worked for the torque monsters of the 60s.

Just adding any kind/brand will do the job.

I think the small difference in strength of the various designs is minimal compared to not running them at all.

The Edelbrock ones are a little easier to mount since they use a tab to mount vs a tube on other designs.

these do look nice. but i would image that the offset bolting location would make them less stiff than killerdaves type. :-k $100 ain't bad.
which end goes to the lca? the larger tabbed side....

I believe the big side goes to the lca.. As far as less stiff they may be, but i see no stress marks on them. I have been running them for two years with no problems..Thats a 3800lbs car in the mid 9's..Hope this year with some chassis changes low 9's

That's one thing that I haven't done yet. It was gonna be a DIY thing for too.

BTW, killerdave, those look good.
