Back rim size will it work

Will a 15x8 rim with 4.5 or 5.5 back space on a 28x10.5 slick on a stock suspension 10-bolt 8.5 rear? Or what back space on a 15inch rim would work?

For 1980 malibu trying something alittle differnt with No notching looking to for weld pro stars so one rim can be for slick and the other for drag radials.

on my car with stock width rear i needed a 3/8 spacer to get my 28/10.5 with 4.5 bs prostars to clear.. I think a 4bs is perfect unfortnally most wheel companys do them in 3.5 and 4.5 unless you buy a more expensive wheel

There is a guy that I met he has pro stars that are 15x8 with 3 and 3/8 back space what ever that mean i don't no if it will fit

gonna have to either cut or roll the lip w/ that tire though, unless your cars sitting tall

I did cut the lip and it sits level i want to buy it only if I no for sure that they will fit!! thanks

It will fit with the lip cut on the 3 3/8, but will be pretty close to the outer lip. To run 4.5 with a stock width rear, you need a spacer or a notch.

15x8 with 4.5 back spacing, 7/16 spacer with a et drag 28x10.5 with clearance, or a bfg drag radial 275-60 with all the clearance you could want

That's what I used to run before the frame notch, with the 28x10.5. Now I just don't use the spacer.
