back space with full notch

I am looking a set of wheels 15X10 with a 5.5 bs. I have a chevelle 12 bolt or a gn rear will either of these work with this bs in this rim I want to run a DR tire either a 275 or 315. This build will be a couple years coming as a tt ls car.
I know the gn 8.5 is 54.5 wide from plate to plate and the 12 bolt is 56 from plate to plate. and the fender lip will be rolled in.

Backing plate measurements are totally useless. I never understood why so many car guys use that terminology. The only dimension that matters is wheel to wheel.

Stock G-body rears measure 58" if I'm not mistaken.

I have a new TRZ fabricated 9" housing and cut it down myself. Total housing width is 52" wheel to wheel, full frame notch, 15 x 10 with a 3" back space. Lower control arm brackets had to be moved in to use this wheel.
