Took the edelbrock 2216 cam out (230/239 duration on a 110 lsa), the thing wasnt the greatest with FI. and it only made 10" of vac. so I didnt have power brakes. Im thinking 2002-04 Z06 cam, should idle smooth at 600, cruise nice, good mpg. Any opinions on this? I have a truck intake so its done at 6200, I think the z06 cam is rated 1500-6200

I'm going to guess 430hp or so if you figure the difference in displacement? No doubt street manners will be better. IMHO if the cam didn't make enough vacuum I'd just step it down a notch and go by what the manufacturer says vacuum should be.

it wasn't just the brakes, it was totally wrong for a stock truck intake that is done at 5800-6200, not even that high, looking at my dyno sheet it peaks at 6000 then falls off.

Man, what a diference, idles smooth as butter at 650, brakes are good, and I dont think I lost any performance, pulls excellent to 6000.
