bad Vacuum modulator i hope!

I had my car out for test drive and i had to boot the gas 3/4 and speed up to get it to shift from 1-2. what size line do you run? right now I have 3/16" on there now. is that so small? and i hope it is not a bad trans. and just a bad Vacuum modulator i hope!

sometimes when the modulator goes south it will suck transmission fluid into the motor causing it to smoke, check the transmission fluid make sure its full, and pink, otherwise it may be the governor.

well i just put the new vac modulator on there was no fluid in the vac line do i am guessing my trans is shot.

does the fluid look good, and is it full? what transmission? does it have the kickdown hooked up?

1. The fluid is new level is fine
2. Thm350
3. The kick down is not hooked up as per every one telling me I don’t need it for now.

I got the trans from a friend that "claimed" it works fine when poled. I had the pan off and it looked vary clean inside and had no burnt smell to it. Then I stored in my shed for 1 year covered up in a bag. when i installed it i put 1 qt of ATF in the converter. and filled it with 9-10 more Qts

drive around for a little while a let it warm up all the way and see if the issue goes away.

think there may be some crap in there or some hting needs to get unstuck? hmm will i give it a go today i have the new vac modulator in and ill hope for the bast
