Does anyone use the 1983 rear cadiallic brake calipers on their cars ,I switched from a drum set up to a disc set up few years back ,I currently looking at running more back spacing with new rims but the calipers are interfering with the rims .Has anybody else have this trouble?? if so what can I do to make the wheels fit properly so that they will not rub ...

You can switch to the non-parking brake calipers, and eliminate the parking brake brackets. I'm assuming those are what's causing the issue. Most people prefer to keep the parking brake on a street car, though.

No the rim will not go over the caliper...
I had to grind them down to clear my old wheeels but now im running more off set 6" off set the wheel wont go over the caliper ..ir will take a lot of grinding this time to make these rims work, they are weld racing draglites 15X10 6" spacing with a frame notch....

That's odd, are you using 10.5" rotors? Can you post a pic of where the wheel hits the caliper?
