Would this bolt in? I know it is wider, but that may be a good thing.

The upper and lower control arm mounts will be farther apart than your 7.5, You could make it fit but it wouldn't be pretty or easy.

Dam. It looked close, and the extra width would be ideal imo.

If it is a Chevelle or monte Carlo rear end it will bolt in. The upper mounts are a little farther apart, but it will bolt in with a little persuasion. Buy some upper adjustable control arms and it will fit like a glove.

LOOK closer the rear is a 1973-1977 and the shock mounts are in the front of the axle tube . Th elower control arm brackets are out wider and have larger bolts than your stock G-body so the arm will rattle around too.

PM if you need upper control arms to fit that housing .

We build custom rears from this 73-77 housing BUT we narrow the rear and change the lower control arm brackets and spring perches are moved to the correct location.

Iceman racing make me these custom upper control arms.

Thanks for the offer. Is there an advantage to that over a GN rear? If not, I may just wait. I have seen them go for almost that cheap.
