I just installed a 2400 to 2800 stahl converter and shift kit at the same time and just got it going over the weekend and I cannot tell any difference at all in either the shifting or the converter. what gives the kit went in easy it has the hard shift B&M kit. and the converter is a new one I know it's a dumb question but does it really matter if the cooler lines are a certain way or not in the cooler "ie" top line on transmission to top line on cooler or what? I know it,s full of fluid I put about 11 quarts in it ](*,) .I was hoping to get a half decent take off and maaybe a chip at gear change but nothing it acts like it's being held back or something. I ve got about 375 or 400 horse at the flywheel the feels like a 4 cylinder with 200,000 miles taking off . I know I need gears to round out the combo but curse_sign.gif . I would like a little something . Thnks for any help

Do you mean take off(leaving a stop sign) or Launch(leaving the starting line)? What gears do you have in the car now? If you have 2:73's or something like that, it is not going to work(launch). If you are driving it on the street, it is going to feel like it is being held back during normal street driving(stop and go) until you launch the car.

okay I'll try to launch it forgive me it's the first stall converter I've ever owned so I guess I really don't know what to expect exactly. and yes it's still got the stock gears in it.I just didn't want to tear it up if I did something wrong. I guess I need those 4:11's worse than I thought. Thanks alot for the help.
