driveshaft length with swapping 3.8 to 4.3

i know its shorter but can i use the 1 from the 89 jimmy im taking it from?

if you are just swaping the engine there is no difference in the driveshaft lenth

whats in the car now will work

the trans will still sit in the same spot on the crossmember

i want to use the 700r4 thats already attached to the 4.3

if your using a 700r4 trans and you had the orignal metric 200 or 350 trans in the car then you need to cut the driveshaft 3 inches
