Economical brake upgrade?

Hello everyone,
I am finally back home from Iraq. My BU is still at the body shop and the engine should be going to Dyno this week. I can't wait to have it home so I can start doing my suspension upgrade and work on the interior. I want to upgrade my brakes but I am looking for a economical way of doing this. I have done a few search but hardly anyone out there offers a brake upgrade for the Malibu and the ones that I have found are way on the expensive side. Does anyone know where I can get a brake upgrade kit at a reasonable price?

The late model ( around 2002 ) S10 & Blazer trucks had larger rotors and dual piston calipers. Grab a set from the wreckers for cheap with complete with spindles and you are pretty much good to go. May as well replace the upper and lower ball joints at the same time.

I am looking at that swap along with some F-Body rear disks for the Monte.
