Thanks for the info.

I remove the heads yesterday and i found both of them with craks... I talk to the guy who sell me the engine and says that he has two heads to replacethem...

In summit racing found this carburetor manifold combo. I like to know your opinion..

Im not bluilding a high performance engine, but y want to build a solid one with good power for a daily driver. I have a TH700R4 transmission and installed 4.1 gears keeping the 7.5 rear end, at least for now...

BTW my engine has the oil dip stick on the passenger side.
This engine is considered a first generation engine?

Pretty sure the LT1 engine was the first Gen II sbc. Yes yours would still be considered a Gen I sbc. I'm not expert but that carb/intake would be a great choice for a street driven daily driver.

Engine Casting: 14093638 (this casting number block made 1988 through 1994
• 14093638 = 350 cubic inch
• 1988 through 1994 were the years this block was made
• Roller or Flat Tappet Cam was used
• 2 or 4 bolt mains were used
• 1-piece rear seal

It has 2 bolt main and flat tapped cam. I was looking for a summit racing brand distributor and the same brand combo intake manifold and carburetor of 600cfm acording to the info...

As i mentioned before both cylinder heads had cracks. The guy who sell me the engine will replace them both, but i check the casting number in one head, the other still on his way, and is from 305 engine.

I want this engine to be a stock one, not high performance. What problem could cause the use of 305 heads on a 350...

Ok, i have the engine machined ans is stock. I get a rebuild kit in ebay, nothing fancy i just want to get more power, not a full race engine. Still i want to obtain as much power as possible for a daily driver and good speed on the highway...

My car is a 4 door sedan with a TH700r4 transmission with a stock torque converter. The converter is from a different transmission a 4L60E. The rear end has 4.1 gears. The engine came with a Sealed Power CS 1026R camshaft. The heads are Vortec 062 code. The specs from the cam are this..

Advertised Exhaust Duration: 214 deg
Advertised Intake Duration: 204 deg

Assembly Lubricant Included: No
Cam Type: Hydraulic
Camshaft Gear Adjustable: No
Camshaft Gear Included: No
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 214 deg
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.295 in

Gaskets Included: No
Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 204 deg
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.28 in

Lifters Included: No
Lobe Separation: 110 deg

I need advice here, Is this a good cam, i still have to choose the proper intake and carburetor, so i would like a more experienced opinion. This or other cam with a X or Z carburetor and intake.

Thanks...

That Camshaft is more performance than the other one. It will consume more fuel but give more performance. The 204/214 will also give some and better fuel consumption.

I think for what you want the 204/214 will work fine. Edelbrock Performer intake and carb 1406 will work with that Camshaft.

Well i have no problem with the fuel consumption sice i use the car mostly weekends. My city is a nightmare with the traffic so is no problem...

But if you said that Ex 268 give better performance i will go for that one. Iwould keep the stock valve train and lifters, no problem with that? and the intake you said and carburetor work fine with this cam...

Thanks..
