EVAP purge solenoid removal question

The guy that did my harness and programmed my PCM removed the Evap purge solenoid function. So, I no longer need it. Because of that, I need to remove it and plug the hole where the EVAP purge solenoid was in the intake. See below:

Any suggestions on how to plug this hole in the intake?

How about a rubber expansion plug. Has the nut on it so when you tighten it it expands to fit the hole it's in. Or cut the solenoid off the base, jb weld the base and bolt it back on the intake.

Yeah...personally I think I would hack on the solenoid and see if you can make a decent plug out of it.

After thinking about it last night, I used a hack saw and cut to base off. I'm going to epoxy it up to plug the hole and bolt it right back in. Thanks for the suggestions.
