Thanks guys for the responds.

well i removed all from the drain .......used a garden hose and was still leaking from the seal on the box....i removed the complete box to re-seal.......when i noticed its hooked up to the ducking in the dash..LOL. well needless to say i was going to delete it anyway when new motor gets put it in.....so i figured no point in doing all this work to have to remove it again.

so removed it all, made my own ghetto ac delete panel sealed it and now no water!!!!!going to buy icemans panel powder coat it and weld it on the firewall but untill then this will do.

thanks for the help.

You & me both

One of the members on here was going to try to use the self-contained unit from Vintage Air. I'm not sure how or if that happened, he never gave an update on it. I'd like to go that route to give some more room in the engine compartment if it's possible.

and....i spoke up to soon...i got heavy rain today and guess what puddle is back.the ac delete panel is sealed so......iam assuming its my windshield leaking.... :x now my thing is should i buy a stock like gasket and take it to a glass guy?....or should i just take it to a glass guy and have him seal it using what he uses?

its leaking directly from the transmission tunnel closer to the passenger side....right where the two cowls separate under the hood.no water on driver side...nice puddle on passenger side.

be looking for a solid glass guy this weekend i guess.

Mine drips pretty much directly between where the passenger's knees would be. Maybe take it through a cheap car wash & see where it comes from? I don't think they used a seal, and are glued in place. I would probably take it to a glass place & see what they say. My windshield was put in a few years ago, but I fear the frame has rusted some, letting water through.

well talked to a guy he says he needs to look at it before he touches it. I was real firm on not breaking my damn windshield, the one time i attempted to remove the windshield i broke it.......so it scares me, dont know how hard it is to find a front windshield for the car.

my water is coming directly over the corner of the ac delete panel, right above the distributor. dont know what else it could be other then the windshield gasket. car is really rust free other then some surface rust on the floor bored s from water sitting. the last owner replaced the rear windshield so iam assuming the front can be done with no damage.

thanks doober for the vent release...lol.
