what can be cool is that most weld draglites are 5x4.75 AND 5x4.5 so maybe you can muster up a set and just use diff holes and no one will be the wiser!

ps---8.8 fan here
Yeah, It would be hard to notice that for sure (especially with 5/8" studs

)
I have always been an 8.8 fan. I have seen several cars in the mid-8's with an 8.8 rear. I had one mustang that was a DR car with 33 spline axles and a spool 5/8" studs. I dont think anything would break it that is still "stock suspension" (35 spline is available have to install big ford ends)
The best part is... it is stronger than a 8.5 10 bolt (ring gear issue) may be stronger than a 12 bolt (definatly on par) and takes about 10hp less to turn than a ford 9" due to the pinion location
What has to be modified...
-Have to weld on spring perches
-May have to modify the LCA mounts
-Custom upper control arms (mustangs wider apart)
Nothing really different than a 12-bolt except the LCA mounts, and surely the cost of that would be offset buy the relativly cheap price for parts for an 8.8......
