found some cheap slicks but can i fit them?

i found a deal with an auto teacher of mine he has some slicks off his drag car they have at least half life left if not more and said that he would give them to me for 100 the only problem i wasnt sure if i can fit them i have nothing done to the rear end it is just stock size and everything and no rolled fenders or anything like that they are 29.5/9.0/15 do you guys think i can get them in there or they too big?

I dont think I've ever seen a slick that tall.....Width ways should fit, I dont think the heighth will though. Are you sure thats the correct size?

what is the biggest sized tire that will fit? Width? I seen it posted before but it's been awhile....

yea ik its big i absolutely positive thats the right size tho and i keep hearing that 295/50 can b squeezed in sometimes but 275/60 preferebly so i didnt know if i could squeeze those big ones in or not

I had 275's on mine and they rubbed the frame any time the rear end tried to articulate , if you want to put 275's on I would suggest rolling the lip and using a 3/8 or 5/16 spacer. I run 28x9x15 slicks now with a 7/16" spacer and my fender lips have been rolled. I really dont think I could get a 10" under there without it rubbing. If you are running the stock rear end don't bother with slicks or you will be rearend shopping...

If they are M/T slicks you should be fine. They really measure closer to 29".
My wagon had them in its previous life. It certainly did sit high, but it worked. I went the frame notch route with a 28 x 10, but here is a shot of the car from the previous owner when it had stock wheel wells and the 29.5 x 9 x 15 M/T.
