GN Driveshaft in Malibu with TH350?

I'm putting a (stock for now) GN 8.5 rear under the back of my Malibu. Will the driveshaft from the GN fit into the TH350 trans? I can't remember if the TH350 output shaft is in the same location, same spline count, etc. as the 200-4R used in the GN.

the spline count is the same as the 350 but where their was more than one tail shaft housing available i cant say on the rest of your query.click on this link it should help.

Elky- I don't know what TH350 is in it, except to say that it's whatever came stock in a factory 79 Malibu. It's not the awful Metric trans. That much I confirmed absolutely. It's a factory-stock TH30 for a G-body Malibu.

The GN driveshaft is a bolt in with the orig TH350 trans, which has a short tail shaft.
