going to be going with 16" rims to go over the big brakes, so i'll need some good **relatively inexpensive** tires.

front rim is a 16x6 w/ 4" backspacing

rear rim is a 16x8 w/ 4.5" backspacing

was eying kumho tires in jegs...

kumho ECSTA AST 225/50r/16 in the front

kumho ECSTA STX KL-12 255/65r/16 in the rear

this is for my daily driver wagon that is first being made to handle good... opinions welcome!!

When I got my Kumho Ecsta Supras, someone told me I'd be buying new tires in a year and I said whatever. Well, a year later I now have BFGoodrich tires. Those Kumhos sucked. I went out driving hard 2 or 3 times on them through the mountains and the outer edges were completely worn off. Too soft for me, and average traction. The BFGoodrich tires are great though. Ive had them for about a year and they still look brand new. And I have yet to push them to their limit through a corner. I paid $80/each for mine.
