I'm looking at doing a head swap on a stock bore 350. I'm wondering if there are issues with using a 4.100 bore gasket instead of a 4.000 bore gasket. Also I'm looking at using a thin gasket to raise the compression and am wondering what the effect would be if using a 4.100 bore gasket with a compressed thickness of .015 instead of a 4.00 bore gasket with a .028 compressed thickness. I'm thinking tha extra volume allowed by the extra bore size might negate any gain found with the .013 thinner gasket.
