Header issue-87 Cutlass

I got a 87 cutlass and I am droppping in a 400 chevy with angle plug heads. The heater box is still in and I need a set of headers.What are you guys using?
Schoenfield makes a set but they dont fit with the heater box.

hello sir; a friend of mine has used the schoenfeld headers with clearance for the heater box by buying the right side for i believe 79 camaro. they are the same xcept they seem to clear the box, he bought one side for the g-body and the right side for the camaro. check it , hope this helps. thanks jim e.

I never knew you could buy them seperately but I will definitely check into that. thanks

If that combo does work, you would figure the company would start selling those two headers as a set to reduce fitment issues from buyers. :-k

i thought about that also, but with schoenfeld they may not get that much call for sales to street type[daily driver] show car- drag racers. to my knowledge they probably sell more to the street stock [ stock car racers] who gut the underhood area anyway. jmo thanks jim e.
