I covered and installed one in may, and by july every place that was not sandwhiched between anything had started to bow and sag. At first I thought I got a bad 5 gallon can of glue, and the glue let go but that was not the case.
Thanks Randy. All my headliner boards are styrofoam. So I can use the same 3M glue just more light coats ? Thanks DougRandy W said:If you have the cardboard unit, glue won't eat it, if you have the Styrofoam unit you just need to be more careful wire brushing the old foam off and spray the glue in lighter coats using a couple of extra coats to make up for it. I hate the Styrofoam it's much harder to work with overall. You can also use package shelf board to cut the board from, it's very similar to the headliner cardboard that comes in many cars.
