I'm looking for a new set of front tires. I have the 165R 15 now. I'm looking to even out the car with 28" tall tires,but not sure what ones to get. The ones i'm looking at at the MT ET drag thefronts or the sportsman. The problem is that i drive this car on the street and people are saying i should go with the sportsmans. I drive about 100 miles max..on the street...The last two years I put about 20 street miles on the car..What are all you guys running?
the 165's are like a 25" tire, the MT 27.5's fit and look perfect. Its your call on the et fronts vs the sportsmans but I've ran the et fronts on a daily driver for a whole summer and never had an issue with them.
I'm running Hoosier Drag fronts for street use every now and again. I hate them, I was actually considering on getting the sportsmans myself but 26" tall.
I run the 28" Sportsman fronts and love them. I drive it to the track 50 miles round trip. A 26" tire is too small on any g-body in my opinion.
