I dont want any electric stuff. GN's came with hydroboost. I spoke with the guy from hydratech and he said I would notice about 20% better braking going from the GN's hydroboost to his product. He did say going from a vacume canister to hydroboost would reult in about 70% better braking.

Paul, owner of hydrotech, is a friend of mine. They sell top notch products and their system is well worth the money. What price can you put on good brakes? Call back, ask for Paul, and tell him I told you to call. Might just get a discount.

the unit with the co2 canister is the one I needed. I scored one of a low milage GN for cheap with the pedals. The hydratech is very nice but its a little steep . I wouldnt think there would be a night and day difference between the GN setup and the hydratech. There are a couple of guys on the GN forums that have done the change and it was minamul (sp)

On my Grand Prix(dearly departed) it was a factory diesel car it had hydroboost. That was a killer brake system, it had hella pedal. The downside is the associated plumbing looks like crap(I am sure you could work it to look a little better with some braided hoses and whatnot). If you do go that route you will need a Hydroboost brake pedal or make a bushing to fit over your pivot pin b/c the hydro unit has a larger hole in the arm, the geometry is the same though. I have always been kinda intersested in the Powermaster units off of the GN's to see how they would work out.
