Is this an adequate fix?

I was looking at the condition of my springs and I found that the shock mount was almost completely torn in half, put a wrench on it and this happened....

In the meantime it had egged out the hole in the mount....

So this was my fix for now. I used all grade 8 hardware except for the washers. Is this gonna work for now?

Thanks

Awesome! I was going to try to weld a piece of flat stock there and re-drill the hole, but I realized that that area is not very flat at all. So the bolt may be a more permanent fix than I thought.

the washer isn't really changing anything the way you have it. i had the same issue with the rearend i bought. i welded the washer to it (did both sides cause i'm OCD about keeping things simetrical). so far so good.

Awesome. I am in the process of putting together lowering springs with new shocks and poly bushings. I'll weld it then.
