I just installed bigger solonoids and im going to 250 shot of juce .Heres the qustion.
The guy at the hot rod shop got the new jets and told me that this is what NX said was the proper ones for that shot.NO2 88/fuel 73 thats one hell of a spread it looks to me that it would be way lean but not sure . I would think with 6 1/2 pound of fuel pressure it needs to be more like 88/78 or 88/82 some were near that any way.
What are your thoughts on it

Thanks

David

I think your guy is wrong. My N.O.S sheet says 93 On the nitrous jet and 102 on the fuel. The fuel jet should be higher to stay safe on the tune. Again this is from Nitrous Oxide Sytems but im sure the jetting should probably stay the same

NX's tunes usually are like that. But they also up the FFP to between 8-10 lbs not 6.5. My NX kit calls for a 57 N20 jet and 41 fuel jet for a 100 shot. That is a 16 jet size spread. But they recommend a FFP of 10 lbs to start.

What kit are you using? Looking at your chart you must be using a zex perimeter plate with a NX kit, right?

that is the right spread with 950 bottle pressure and 9 pounds of fuel pressure. nx runs all of there systems with a 8-10 psi of fuel pressure. 10 being rich and 8 being towards lean. the sweet spot isusually 8.5-9.5. i would contact the manufacturer of the plate your using. my nx system uses two fuel and two n2o jets in a spraybarless plate. if you have one jet for fuel and one for n2o what i posted should get ya going. but if you dont want to use nx's reccomended fuel pressure you can recalculate it with 6.5 psi via the link i listed.

that 88 n2o jet with a 73 fuel at 9 psi is gonna get you 350 hp
that 88 n20 jet with a 79 fuel at 6.5 psi gets you the same 350 hp

a 75 n2o jet with 9 psi of fuel thru a 62 jet ges you 250 hp
a 75 n2o jet with 6.5 psi of fuel thru a 67 jet gets you 250 hp

I going 88no2 88 fuel At 10 psi with 10 degrees taken out of timing and 115 race fuel on the no2 and 93 on the motor .I talked to zex and the guy hade no clue .they nor nx make the jet they call for a 250 shot. Why is there so much deffence from kit to kit with the jetting ? Some are high on the no2 and others are hight on the fuel what gives .I have ran bigger jets before but with small sniper gear .
