LeMans Hood Question.

When I mentioned the L88 scoop I was thinking of another Vette scoop. Sorry for the mix up. On another forum I saw some pics of what I had in mind.
The car belongs to a board member, drfade27.

That scoop would be a natural with the Lemans hood.

I was am planning to do the T/A shaker. :shock: I have pics of a Lemans where somebody grafted the small sccops of of an early 70s GTO hood.

There was a guy on this forum who was going to have a glass hood made with a cowl scoop But I have yet to hear the results.

That was "jacobgiles" that was having a cowl hood made. You can search for his old posts if they haven't fallen off yet. A guy in Canada got it done for him and then got sick or something so he probably has the only one ever built. I believe he said it cost him about $650.
I went back and pulled that from my old pm's when I was searching for another hood for my longroof.

That scoop and a stinger stripe down the nose (like a T/A)would be perfect! =D>

That's a "Stinger" hood. It came on 65-67 Big Block Corvettes.

This is an L88 hood for 68-72 Corvette:

Yep, the stinger scoop is what I had in mind, not the L88. Some Yenkos had those scoops too. That should look great on the Lemans hood.
